I threw mine in the pond at the old house for the fish to hide in from the coons & herons looking for a fast meal. Whenever I tried to grow strawberries mine dried out too fast for any real production too.

What type of strawberry? Would love to find one that is an ever bearer. Bought some, they aren't.I planted ever-bearing strawberries in a large pot, last year. They were wonderfully nonstop productive, until frost. The only drawback, it dried quickly in summer. It was late winter when I had them in the greenhouse.

I don't remember what the other succulents were, they had a redish stem with green leaves and there were several different different color verities, orange, yellow,pink, and hot pink.
