My friend Karen has over 20 books published, 3 made the Ny Times best sellers list. She is writting a new book, where Lizzy Borden is reincarnated in to a modern day Beverly Hills heiress. The Borden house where the murders happened is now a Bed and beakfeast in Falls River Ma. When Karen told her husband she wanted to stay there for a weekend, he said I love you, I support you, but no way I staying there, ask Alex. I said yes, rooms booked for 2nd weekend in Jan.

I thought I was "sensitive" till I did a paper in college on haunted places in SE Missouri. I went to lots of haunted sites, but didn't feel much at all.

Elizabeth Montgomery played Lizzie Borden in a TV movie.

I watched that at a neighbor's house about a half mile away from my old home in the country. Then, I walked home thru the trees in the dark.

She must have decided that it was a way for her to break the typecast mold from Bewitched. Whoa! I don't know what was more scary, the story line or seeing the "real" Lizzy behind Samantha Stephens ...
