I was invited to Martha Stewarts Christmas party this Sunday at her house. I was tought to never show up at a party empty handed. What kind of hostess gift do you give Martha ?

What kind of things do you see on her show? Fancy kitchen gadgets? Decorative gourds or squashes? Etc.?

Since she has everything I would take a nice expensive bottle of wine. You could also give her something for her pups such as a nice collar or fancy dog treats.

A dog gift makes sense given your occupation and you can't go wrong with wine, but since she is such a creative person, wine might be too easy. What about a fabulous holiday flower arrangement or some artisan made candies/chocolates/biscotti/etc.?

Just brainstorming...honestly I wouldn't know what on earth to get Martha Stewart! Make a good impression and you might get invited back. You must tell us everything!

I agree with @ninnymary , something that includes the dogs would be a good idea. Maybe a basket with a selection of gourmet Christmas cookies - some for the dogs, and some for the people?

Problem with a gift for dog, is she has her own line of dog products. If you have been in pet smart lately, half the store has her name on it. I like the chocolate idea, who doesn't like Godiva? Can't wait to see her farm, hope we can take photos.

Well Yeh... don't take her a basket of Martha Stewart dog toys...

But some yummies would be cool. Maybe nestel a nice bottle of wine in the middle (to keep the dog goodies and the people goodies seperate)

My sister's mother inlaw is a amazing baker. She once gave me a tin of homemade cookies. When I tried one it was very bland, I thought she forgot something and threw them out. Next time I saw her she asked how my dogs liked the homemade treats.
