O.K. so sis's Pinky Winky Hydrangea is in bloom. It is not longer pink. What should be done (soil amendment) to get the pink to return?

What color is it. Adding lime will work if the hydrangea has turned bluish, but I haven't heard that anything will change colors of a hydrangea other than the blue/pink varieties.

My Pinky Winky (new this year) hasn't flowered so I don't know what color it will be.

I don't think soil amendments change the colors on paniculata hydrangeas.
Pinky Winkys start out white and then fade into pink as the blooms age.
Is that the case Carol Dee, that they are blooming white right now?
