Very fun! When I have a decent crop of pumpkins, I do the same. I am loving my ornamental cabbages this fall. All my customers are impressed by them!

Nice pop of color! So many cool ways to decorate with squash and gourds. My kids went to the pumpkin patch and couldn't decide on just 3 a piece, so I came home with 2 grocery bags full of tiny pumpkins and gourds. Of course they love the little ones best. Now if I can just keep them from drawing faces on all of them. LOL.

Oh, one or two would be cute, but they have a tendency to take permanent black markers and scribble on all of them. After spending $60, I'd like to keep a few for decoration.

I did 1 box in some overpriced mums from a florist yesterday. Got chilly last night they look dead.

I'd forget the mums and just add a few more gourds. You want it to look full and not skimpy.
