Happy birthday to a real life flower child

HA !!! @Smart Red @so lucky let the cat out of the bag. We will be ready ;) Well since today is @catjac1975 's Birthday I will wish her a very Happy Day doing what she loves most. Hope your day is perfect and there will be some beautiful new daylilies in your garden this summer.

Thanks! Had a lovely breakfast out with the husband. A nice new place with fresh ingredients and real eggs. You know how hard it is to please those of us with fresh eggs. Think I need a glorious self-indulgent nap. Then will check on the daylily seedlings in the greenhouse. Many thanks to my gardening friends.

A giant prolific bloomer that should be reedy for splitting this season. Unnamed.
 
Yum! I love the crinkly-edged ones almost as much as the double petaled ones. The really big flowered ones are also on the top of my list. Heck, I'll just admit I love 'em all.

My sister is 3 1/2 years older than I. We were 3 boys and then my sister and I at the end. Of course she was a controlling influence on me. We are very close to this day. She always told me she was 4 years older when we were little. When my birthday came around one year when I was pretty tiny i excitedly told her I was catching up. She crushed by dream when she said, "you can't catch up....you can never catch up." One time when I was 39...to her 43 we were talking with some friends of my oldest brother who did not know me. He was 14 years older so I looked like a young thing in comparison to he and his friends. We were discussing our ages and I said I was 4 years younger than my sister. She replied..."Three!" So....when did that happen???
So Now when we exchange notes I sign them, From your Much younger sister, Cathy
Of course she remembers none of this when I tell the story.
