I have seen the first daffodil flower buds. There is no daffodil golden yellow showing but there are buds!

The snowdrops are blooming along a creek where I often walk. Of course, they will first show up as the snow cover melts. I don't usually walk that way when there is snow on the ground.

The big change I noticed this morning? It was fully easy enuf to see, under overcast drizzly skies, at 6 AM!

Nyboy, are your flowers close to the house or a building? I know those seem to flower a lot earlier than the ones planted out past the lawn. Of course, you have been having much warmer winter weather than we have had.

i haven't noticed that we had a pair of male cardinals in the yard but yesterday while taking care of the chickens i saw them chasing each other around the yard. must be spring coming real soon & they're fighting for territory! haven't seen the robins or the blue birds yet but they will soon be here.
