Potting Bench for Greenhouse

I think it would work. But personally I wouldn't put such a nice piece in there. Says someone who has a chandelier in her coop.

I'm a little tall.

The plants with me here in the South Window began as seeds sown with me standing in the utility room, utilizing the top of the washing machine.

Finally. The bench is back in the greenhouse as of a few days ago. I used it to get some more seed started this morning.

Let's see .... my washing machine is 37" high. Kitchen tables are 30", too low! Bending over that table would bother my back within minutes.

I would think you could find something fairly easy on cl. Be patient. You could make your own out of pallets. Over here I'm always seeing them abandoned.

I'm shocked that you made that suggestion Mary. You must be slipping into the fashion gutter with the rest of us.

Haha. You know I tease! :hugs

If you decide to make your own, or repurpose something, you might like a table with sides on it, to hold potting soil and such. A 1"X4" rim around the top would work.
I have to agree, the table shown is too nice to grind dirt into it.

Concrete blocks and planks, that's what I made my benches out of. Easy to take apart to change height of shelves or replace a plank if starting to rot. Very versatile. DSCN6395.JPG
