Today's work wasn't exactly in the garden, although I did pick my first yellow squash today!! (Yay)

The project for today was adding the nest boxes to the chicken coop!
Got some of it done, but a thunderstorm stopped the progress!
Will finish tomorrow hopefully!

Thank you! :)

No, they were "Cajun Style" playhouses that we built for the kids when they were little. There is still monkey bars in between the two houses & there used to be a rock wall down the side of one & and a slide out the side of the other. But...it's been so many years now since they have actually been played in.....so I decided to turn them into chicken coops with a run in between. I love how it turned out, it's a perfect place for my chickees, & I think they love it too:)

Your garden is looking good! I had 3 year old bell peppers and they produced nice peppers. Your's probably needs some help, compost it and mulch it. Cute chicken coops!

Well that was a great way to repurpose them! I notice a chair in the pen. Do you sit with them?
I used to have a chair in my chicken pen and I would sit and visit with the girls, and the very friendly ones would hop up on my lap. I can't believe I had the time to do that. Must have been before I got a laptop.
