Uh oh! Something went wrong. I got a "not found."

That sometimes happens with this tablet and not the PC. Have others been able to access your blog, ChickenMomma? There are other TEG members with blogs. I kinda think of myself as a blogger but use the forums and trust in the search capabilities :).

Have I told you that my grandmother was born in Daviess County?. When you look for Bancroft, google shows only a road. I guess it's good enough that the neighborhood is still known even if it never developed into a town.

Steve
edited out "community" for "neighborhood" ;)

I was raised in Clay and Ray county. I shared it on Facebook for my friends and family and they've all been able to read it. try going to blogher.com and searching for Kaite Franklin. I should pop up

No problem with the tablet, this time :).

Pepper, Nugget, and Cadbury?

Now, proper chicken names are like, Number 1, Number 2, Greedy, Stupid Chicken. I know, not very compassionate.

The last flock, I decided to name after movie stars from my childhood. So there was Edna and Spring ... yes, there was an actress named Spring ;). A backyard chicken, too!

That name didn't help, either. The last of the little flock, Olivia, died of Old Age in 2015. She hadn't laid an egg in over a year!

Steve, was that Spring Byington? I had to look her up to make sure it was she who was in December Bride. Can you believe she was born in 1893? That's before my grandmother! It's hard to comprehend that we admired a movie star that was an older contemporary of our grandparents. I mean, they were so olde!

Ahhh, I used to love "December Bride" with Spring Byington and her sidekick Verna Felton. My dad told me he actually knew Verna Felton way back when.... :).

It was. You prompted me to look her up, too!

But, we knew she was a movie star despite her role as an olde er lady. There was probably another reason for me knowing ... Saturday afternoons watching black and white movies from who knows when! And, that we only had a CBS station in the '50's! In black and white ...

;) Steve
See what you did to us Spring chickens, @ChickenMomma91 ;)?
