I found this it speaks promising;
Silver maple trees suffering from verticillium wilt will display wilting leaves and dying branches. Sapwood on trees infected with verticillium wilt will be stained dark green. ... Prune infected trees, removing dead branches. Fertilize lightly with 10-10-10 fertilizer to encourage the tree to outgrow the disease.

If we can eliminate other problems with pictures, we can see if there is a safe fix.
Question: There are no Tar Spot on the leaves?

I found this as well:
Depending upon the site, combinations of poor soil aeration, poor soil drainage, deicing salt damage, high temperatures at the site, drought, excavation damage, soil compaction, paving close to trees, verticillium wilt, and armillaria root rot weaken and kill the tree.

It honestly doesnt matter because this tree and two others are in the way of the new house

Well Dew , those photos of you Maple trees look just what my dying Maple trees looked like. Verticilium wilt is in the soil all over the US , so contamination is always here.

They will be taken down soon. I was just wondering what happened to them. There is another maple beside the sick one and it's starting to look the same way.
