Motion helps them sleep.

I have a rocker recliner. I rock when holding the grand babies and they go to sleep. Then I put the foot rest up and Mamaw goes to sleep too.

That's why I can't swing on a swingset . I get a little nauseated.
Not to mention the fact that they don't make the seats the right size anymore.

I haven't!

The bestest fun I had in 3rd grade recess was "bailing out" from the swings! My skill probably developed from jumping off the hay and swinging from a rope in the barn. I was greatly involved with the swings at recess until the teachers at the first-through-third school made a public announcement that bailing out would no longer be allowed.

It took me awhile to substitute tetherball and that proved disappointing.

No, just since "maturing".

Dad made us a treeless tree house with a super tall swing on one side of the structure. The tree house was situated on a big bank that dropped off to a tomato farm. You could really get some height! It felt like flying as you'd swing out over the bank.

If I went back for a visit I would probably find everything had shrunk.
