What we know has happened due to shutting down the country.
-the stock market crashed while business’s are making record profits.
-food chain has increased margins at the expense of purchasers (higher prices) and farmers (not buying their products causing a collapse of their markets/pricing)
-trillions added to national debt to fund non-essential items (congressional pay raise, lawyers to investigate, etc.)
-millions laid off, thus putting families at risk as well as decreasing funds to pay for government services.
-companies given a trial run to see how they can continue without office buildings and people. They are under no obligation to hire them back.
-re-modeled casualty plan as old plan was ineffective.
-registration for new, experimental drugs relaxed.

Hoping they will relax regs on small locker plants so that we can by pass the large lockers with questionable (IMO) tactics. Also make a labeling law as to “country of origin” on all food.

As far as the virus, no reliable data to prove anything. That “hot spots” cooled off or that other areas had positive cases, is a big “duh”.

I KNOW!! You and I live in low risk areas. DH is health compromised, courthouse is closed until the end of May, so he only goes to his law office, I go everywhere else. We adapt.
He really looks forward to our security team Bible study 1x/week. We visit for 30 minutes prior to the study and that is his current socialization.
Refi loans and loan modifications are beginning to really RAMP up. This is the way it was when I started witnessing loans 7 years ago, and this year may be worse, which means I will be very busy.
While Pyg was recovering from her surgery I refused jobs, but I am charging more now. It is really hard to communicate and to read with a stupid mask on and reading glasses. Usually I stay at the signer's home to double check Their signatures before I leave, but yesterday I had to tell the signers that I had to double check from their driveway bc I needed to take off the mask to take a good look at their documents.
DD is awaiting his Notary Public certification from IL, and he will be doing signings, too. The companies that hire Will be desperate for NSA's as the year rolls on, and I told DH to demand only signings at his office (or use the 17 chair conference room at the Municipal Center.
Also, he may get legal business in the future, already met, KNOW where the office is. It has happened before, when I witnessed a signing at his office.

It's all working out the way it was intended. Cripple the country, induce fear, and continue to compound it.
See how many incremental unconstitutional restrictions Americans will tolerate in the name of "public safety".
See how many people will accept all the lies as truth.
If you tell a lie often enough and loud enough it becomes a common truth to many.

Define “normal”.

IMO, “normal” will not be “as it was”. Too many governmental changes. Obviously you don’t shop for family, plenty of toilet paper-just more expensive.

Largest problem, is politicians, media , etc. played on emotions and NOT facts.

I support the broadcasting the info about the virus and it’s possible effects. Those that are at risk, take appropriate precautions. (This should be SOP for those at risk.). I never saw a need to shut down the country, still don’t. I never saw a need to spend the trillions on government raises, perks, money squirreled away to investigate the other party, etc.

Consider Tyson. 2 weeks after symptoms showed up, workers got sick, got better, back to work. What is not told about the workers are their living conditions and rampant drug abuse. I ask, why didn’t the death rate go sky high between the workers, their family and friends which never socially distanced?

20-20 looking back, 8 weeks later, we are still on lock down and the virus is still as dangerous to the ones not exposed as it was 2 months ago. So I ask you or anyone else in support of lock down, what did we accomplish? Aren’t the “at risk” at risk to a bad cold, flu, influenza, etc? & still at risk? & why can’t we get accurate numbers?

Another question to ponder, why are the reports from American doctors to study the effects of the virus where it started being buried? Their conclusion, acted just like a bad flu.

No, some of our liberties were not stepped on. They were torn from us. It was illegal and unconstitutional,
We will never again have our lives back as they were. This has set a precedent. We are being boiled like frogs.
