Oldest daughter bought first plant! 😍

I was so excited yesterday because my oldest daughter bought her first real plant!!!! My other daughter loves plants and flowers as I do and always has, but my oldest daughter never had that interest. She got a rosemary plant for her balcony. I love it!

That is, probably, a Very Good Choice.

We have had rosemary plants for years and they require very little even here where they cannot survive outdoors during the Winter. Fresh rosemary has no substitute.

You should try the ARP rosemary variety. It can withstand temps down to negative 10 farenheit!

the "name" is bothersome . I checked & learned that the Texas town for which it is named is, itself, named for a comedian who used it as a nom de plume. Silliness!

University of Illinois says it is hardy to zone 6; Cornell University has it as zone 7. I might be able to have some trust in one but not the other.

The University of Illinois is probably WRONG!!!! I am 30 miles south, zone 6 and I have Never had a rosemary survive MY winter.
They are pipe dreaming....
