some of us are familiar with Etsy.com but did you know you can buy seeds and in some cases plants? I have my eyes on some little finger carrot seeds and sugar baby watermelon.
I have a big pile in the middle of my side yard. It contributes to my goal of not having so much grass to mow. Its bigger than it looks, this is just a part of it, it was a pickup load.
I had heard about it but this year the rain got the best of me and my garden. I usually do give my extras to neighbors anyway, they dont have a lot but they do have a finishing mower so its kind of like a trade for use of it. I plant tomotoes even though I dont like them and give them away.
My Sadie. She is currently recuperating from a back injury. Last week at this time she couldnt use her back legs. Shes getting better slowly.
I found both of them in my bed one morning
I was wanting to get some started too. My dad has a large tree in his yard so I can get them from there. He is planning on having it cut down, its old and most definitely hollow, if it goes it will be on my grams house. But there are several smaller ones near by, maybe 10 - 15 years old.
I have several sunflower seed heads, the only thing that did well this year. How to I save them? I want to keep them to give to the chickens this winter as a whole head.
I just remembered this one, not like it sits in my side yard and I see it every day or anything. This wheel barrow sat for free outside a business. its beat up, cant use it but makes an excellent decoration.

I love decorating with the "weeds" I find this time of year. Makes a beautiful decoration and costs me nothing.
The large pumpkin and the green one I grew. The green one was my Big Max that the dog dug out (gggrrrr). The hollow logs my son brought home when cutting up logs.
theres a...
it would make an excellent screen its just that it is impossible to control. There is a large patch of it down the road from here and all they can do it cut it down a couple times a year because it blocks the view around a tight corner on the road.
how tall is it? Looks like an invasive plant we have around here, gets very tall and hard to get rid of.

im jealous for everything you have put up. I see you have frozen corn on the cob. Ive been wanting to try this for a long time but I dont know anyone who has. What do you have to do before you freeze it and do you have to thaw it before you cook it when you take it out?
