Yes, it was potting soil. We can not do a water catching tray, as these planters sit on tour balcony rail. I will put them a big pool today, and soak the bottoms.

parsley, mint, cilantro, oregano. We water once a day, that's too much? If so, after soaking for a few hours in the tub, should we adjust our watering schedule?

I will put the planter box in the bathtub tomorrow morning for a few hours then. Any idea what caused this? They are on the balcony/porch, which faces west. Get sunlight from 12-7pm daily, rained the last 2 days also. We water them in the morning, daily (when it doesn't rain).

We planted our herb garden on our porch about a month ago. Up until 2 days ago, it has been doing great, but the last 2 days, the herbs look wilted, and when I water it, seems the water runs through the soil very quickly, and exits out the drainage holes (seems to not be getting absorbed) What...
