    Finland MN...about 75 miles north east of Duluth and 10 miles off the shore of Lake Superior so my zone is 4a but I do plan to steer more toward zone 3 plants for outside my greenhouse just to be safe

    I was a director of a Charter School ad our students went outside unless it was below 0! If I remember my childhood....(it was a long time ago) the weather never bothered me..cold, hot or otherwise :)

    Hi Steve, Our winter this year hasn't been cold either until about a week ago when we suddenly dropped into the double digit negatives! I worry about my horses but so far they seem to be doing ok.

    Hello! I am up on the northshore of Lake Superior. Finland to be exact :) Right smack dab in the middle of the Sawtooth Mountains...yes...they call them mountains up here LOL!
