Please help...
I have 3 potted white Birds of Paradis that are kept indoors year round. Several months ago, I noticed my hardwood floor covered in something sticky. I thought the kids spilled a soda and left it there...so I wiped it up with a Clorox wipe.
A few weeks after that, the same...
That is sad. Guess that is why I opted to give Norfolk Island Pines rather than Poinsettas to the neighbors....I hate knowing this little guy is pretty much doomed. sigh....
OK, so how does this work? I carefully sew seeds for beautiful flowers and NOTHING. My 8-year-old daughter randomly sticks 3 white oak acorns in the dirt and a lemon seed from her tea...and VOILA! 4 magnificent little trees are thriving without a care in the world!!!! :)

WOW!! We are roasting at 89 degrees today!!! It's hard to enjoy the Fall Corn Maze when it's SO hot!!! BUT, I will say, I can't handle being too cold either....

Oh, no no! It knows its manners. It grows in nice glumps....like a liriope or pampas grass might. I have decided to forget about running all over the state looking for it....we're going to divide them (when it's less than 100 degrees outside!!)
OK...as luck would have it....I found the name:: MUHLY!! :dance
I am SO excited! I love this fast grower!!! It fit the profile of my garden:
dog-proof; kid-proof; evergreen, blooming, drought tolerant, freeze tolerant, neglect resistant!!
I will tomorrow when it's light out....I think you are right, it is definately in the pampas family without the saraded (sp?) edges.....
Thanks for the welcome! :rose
