    Nasty Big Storm

That must be the storm that just went through here. Just before dark. I waited to lock up the chickens until the rain stopped, but there was still continuous thunder and lightning the whole time I was out there. Phone app did say we were under tornado watch, but it wasn’t very windy, so chickens...

    What are you canning now?

You’ve been busy! And here I spent all day on just 7 quarts of tomatoes from my freezer. 🙇‍♀️ I’m kinda slow.

What kind/size of ice chest did you use? Any special tips, like did you layer them with anything or just pile them in? Where did you store the ice chest?

Do you have a favorite plant in your garden?

That’s another one my grandmother always planted and that I love. (Her name was Gladys, and it’s also my birth month flower.)

Do you have a favorite plant in your garden?

Since I am more of a plant hoarder than a gardener, I have way too many favorites to choose a top fave. Pansies, phlox and poppies spring to mind first. Edit: Oh now I remember! My absolute most favorite right now (for the past couple years) is Campfire rose!
