crappy weather here lately as well, but today was decent, sunny a little wind.Today was the first day my new girls were out and bringing in pollen.They've been gobbling down the 1/1 syrup.

Thats a smart idea Ariel301 to consider re-queening and getting the beek who sold you the bees to work them with you.Some hives are just hot, and need to be requeened, they don't have to be Africanized...Yes, it was a little depressing losing my bees.I found someone near by who may have a couple...

Hi all...not sure if this is the right place for this post.Discovered today that my three hives of Italians starved to death, very sad to see. They had alot of stores going into winter. The harshness of the long winter apparently led to using stores faster than normal.I usaully check in...

I would ask first as mentiond. All it takes is a store manager havin a bad day to get you in trouble for "stealing". It seems harmless enough, but even though its a dead flower head, removing it and taking it home is taking without permission.
