I know what you mean. I saw a photo of that and it does look a lot like it, however the plant I have does not turn red nor does it have berries.

That looks like the plant. I've been scouring the web to try and find and id for this . . . I think I might have found it. Here is a photo of Veronica officinalis, which does look similar. My unknown plant looks more like Veronica than Creeping Jenny.

It is not the same as Creeping Jenny. If you look at the close up, you'll see that its leaves are oval, not round. While this plant may be in the same family due to its similar growth pattern, it is a different plant. I have Creeping Jenny, and this is not that.

In the second group I posted 2 images of Creeping Jenny for comparison. The first one in that group, titled unknown ground cover, is the plant I'd like to ID.

I have not seen any berries. But I really haven't looked . . . you would think it might since it does have tiny flowers. I'll have to keep an eye on that.
