    Buddlias are beautiful and have so much going for them. One of my loves is the heritage style roses and this is my 'Monsieur Tillier', 1891 It was the first rose I planted.

    It was a combination of the cost of returning the Walers to Australia, (the Poms needed horses after the war, so these fit the bill) and from our quarantine laws...sadly, 10,000 Walers were killed near Alice Springs in 2013 - not widely reported...would have been an outcry.
