Roughed the Tankless in~

Code, In California we were using 1988 Plumbing code they may have moved forward, here in Nevada I don't know, They've used PEX and Shark bite fittings, for a long while, I think they just now are able to use it in California. I've only plumbed for money in Calif, here it's been on our places or a friend, in which case I do what I think best. What works is what's right.
You're right there, no pilot, I'll leave it sunny side up unless I think differently later, most are leaving them up.

I'll not replace the 90, I have a street ell into it, if we're talking about below the roof line, with no nipple in between if you look at it, it's almost straight up, just slight jog, enough to line up with the existing flashing, she be right!

Caught it just in time. Wifey was hearing a funny sound at the well, I pulled the well cap and could see water spraying.

This well is plumbed with only 1" PVC schedule 80. Don't know if the camera picked it up but the end of the pipe shows that the crack in the pipe that is yellowed has 1/2 the diameter of the pipe, had the pipe broken the pump would have gone to the well bottom taking with it the wire, that might have broken under the weight of the pump. We wife and girls, able to lift and clamp the pipe. The fracture was right at the Pittless Adapter, after cutting the pipe to a clean end, and threading it, we were able to thread on the half of the Pittless and lower it with the Tee Handle, down and slide it on to the Pittless reciver.

The other wells are larger pipe and deeper wells, this one could be lifted without a Tripod and wench. So glad we found this.
