was so nice to be able to get out and not be roasting by noon. i have been doing one bucket of weeds from the gardens inside the fence and then moving on to things needing done outside the fence until i get tired.

while inside the fenced garden i also took some time (oh my!) to go through and look for some beans that might be ready.

and finally got some work done in the north garden (weeded some of the edges and the onion patch). i've had cleaning up that mess on my list for months. it will probably take me all week to get it back into shape.

Temperature is finally going down. And i like it 👌

It's great and damp this morning.
We were supposed to have rain yesterday but it didn't happen. We were supposed to have a cloudy day without rain but it's damp this morning so we had some rain at least

cooler is so much easier when you're trying to get things done outside. :) hope some rains get to the UK soon!

we had 4-8cm yesterday.

Blue skies.

It was 83⁰f yesterday and 53⁰f this morning (28 to 12⁰C). That should continue. Oh no, not the comfortable high but the 30⁰f drop overnight. What's that ... 16⁰C.

Forecast is for mid 90's (35C) through the weekend. The drop for a morning low should be even greater — which will help with indoor cooling.

Have you noticed the shorter days? :hideI won't complain for several months, please be patient ;). Dark at 5AM and nearly dark at 8:30PM. Our northern location, elevation and arid conditions ... Now, I have complain some years when frost has shown up in August. Ouch!

I have noticed the shorter days and I'm in deep despair.

Tomorrow will be 100, Saturday 101 and then 99, 97 and 95 as the week progresses. UGH. Means massive watering to supplement the drip irrigation.
