Not all these meals we never heard of over here. Some were really yummy.
The bread milk and sugar was similar to our bread and butter pudding. Except ours was made in the oven. It's delicious 😋

brown sugar, butter and bread could be the basis of much of my life if tomatoes hadn't invaded... it probably would not be a particularly healthy life but hey, put some pistachios or pecans on it and call it good. :) oh, and some cream too. nutmeg, cinamon, allspice, pick what you like and ignore the rest.
