Coffee

Good Morning. My start was the frequent cold cereal combo but there are lots of bananas and I will have to be using them up soon.

Actually the start was taking that pill I am supposed to have an hour before eating ...

Well, wait a minute. It might have been the dream I woke up from where it was somehow my job to keep track of this ferryboat. You might think, that would be easy since it would always be on the same route. But, there were some concerns 🤷‍♂️. It looked like the boat was old and there was a lot of fog. I was flying above it, in a helicopter or something ...

I woke up, tottered out and arrived at the kitchen window, looking out at dense fog under the streetlights. In the real world, the local airport was reporting 1/8th of a mile visibility. Probably not the best time to be flying in a helicopter, better take the ferry. I wonder if they have oars on board ...

How about a 2nd Start ..?

Pumpkin Pie with whipped cream for a 2nd Breakfast!

I've had 4 slices over yesterday and now this morning :). Will need to check on the remaining Winter Sweet squash in the basement, cellar room. They looked fine the last time I was down there 😋.

Start those pansy seeds early. They grow slowly but can take some cooler conditions :).

shaddup and dish over some of that pie before i throw ice-cubes at you.

j/k, but it was not a fun morning with the wind and ice on the driveway. glad to say though that i did get the recycling out and none of it got blown away and we got half our garage space back. they already picked it up and got the bins back in so i'm done with exterior adventures today. i hope...

What pie? Now you've got my attention :drool:pop

I have had my coffee and I went out with my camera and took a couple of pictures of seedlings next to the house coming up. One is a lupine and the others are I think that plant that came up last year and I did not know what it was and it turned out to be larkspur. It is 41 degrees already and the sun shinning. It is supposed to get to 53 today.

DD and I went to Walmart yesterday and bought a few flower seeds. I am going through my seeds and getting ready to make online orders. She wants to start seeds in milk jugs. I might do a few. I am going to set my greenhouse back up in the kitchen, but I remember reading about starting seeds like in an area set aside outside just for transplanting. I am not sure what it was called. You plant all these seeds in an area and then when they come up you take them and transplant to the area you want. I am not sure what the point is other than I think the ground is soft and easy to transplant. I am going to have a lot of flowers coming up in areas that I will have to just hoe them down or transplant to a better area. I think this idea was mostly for flowers and not vegetables.
