I'm In Indiana. They were kept in our laundry room so I don't think the temperature would be way crazy just wanted to keep them out of the snow and frost so brought them in. Seem to be back to our normal spring Temps. Love a good Tolkien quote 😊

I brought my saplings in when we got the weird cold snap so they've been inside for about a week. Are they OK to just move back outside or do I need to set them outside for a few hours a day to let them readjust?

Oh my yeah that's not much rain! We've had decent rain, but the temperatures have been all over! I'd love if it would straighten out and I could find some morels lol!! Man how I wish I could grow those!!!!

Awesome! Ok this is a stupid question... I know Buckeyes are some of the first to lose their leaves. So if they lose their leave before they are planted is that ok? I know plants need them for energy and growing so I wasn't sure if that was an important thing to help them get established.

So I'd like to do what works best for the tree! I know where these are going and could get them planted this year. What I'm struggling with is Do I plant them now when they are little to help them not get root bound or cause problems with the roots, but then worry about them making it through...

I would suggest eating the candies rather than the real ones lol 😂
