Will I need a trellis for my zucchini plants? I remember reading somewhere that if they don't have a trellis the zucchini will rot on the ground. Is that true? Does anyone have a picture of a zucchini trellis they could post? If I use a trellis, will I be able to plant them closer than 12"...

Do I need to space them vertically in squares as well as horizontally? I've never actually seen one and the pics on the internet sites I've googled all look like the fancier decorative trellises. Thanks!

I am putting a trellis up between a double row of peas by stringing twine between two posts. How high should the twine be from the ground? How far should the higher rows be spaced apart? Thanks!

What is the difference between the seeds sold in stores (like Agway or Home Depot) and the ones that are ordered through catalogs. I noticed everyone here uses catalogs. Is there a reason? Are the catalog seeds of a higher quality, or fresher? Or is there just more of a variety?
