This year I am considering using pots and buckets for my garden. I cannot get my garden set up the way I want to do I'm going to use the easier option for growing. This year might really suck but I am hoping for a good crop.

After seeing some posts on BYC I am now again contemplating where to put the compost system. In the chickens run, in a trench, in a potluck garden? Any idea?

I'm still trying to get a compost system in place for my garden. I'm really trying to get the ducks hooked up with a bathtub and 3 little wader pools and then I need to set up a drain system and use the water for the garden.

I have a preference for my tomatoes but I kinda like a little bit less sweet tomatoes. I have heard that if you add sugar around your tomatoes they can be sweeter.

I need to try the beer method for slugs and snails. I now have ducks and I'm hoping they will take care of the nasty little buggers however I did put some glass around my stairstep raised metal bed and it was the only bed that didn't show any signs of slugs and snails.
