I'm not giving up. Hubby made too much money in 2015 for me to qualify for a pell grant, so not I'm looking to other means of financial aid. I'm just now getting my other student loans paid off and REALLY would rather not go that route, but if I have to I will.

You got that right!!! My own mother has not stopped in to check on me. I have 3 brothers and a sister, none of them have even checked on me. But that's ok. I know this will sound petty, but at this point in my life I'm beyond caring....one day they will need help and I wont be there.

Yes I did call and ask for help. I'm not allowed to drive (at least not supposed to) I talked to my dr about the driving, he was not too impressed, but didn't exactly say yes or no. No one would answer or return my calls so I had to start doing things myself.

@Nyboy no, we are doing this to have a nice place to live during our retirement years and so one of our girls will have a place of their own if they would ever need it.

This is the begining of the long awaited demolition. This all began about 13 years ago when Monty told me we would own the properties we currently own. That sparked our dream of building our house. This is the first step in achieving that dream.

@ninnymary You are correct. We did remodel an mobile home and moved into it. The new house will be on the same property we are currently living on. The properties we own are all on the same lane we live on. I will have to post a panoramic picture of our property.
