Yes I do sell a bit of seeds and I prefer to protect them to make sure customers will get what they've ordered. I do the same for tomatoes and pretty much all my seed catalogue. I'm growing about 35 varieties of bean this year, so I can't to spread them all in my farm.

Sounds like rules are stricter. I am from France. Last year I sent seeds twice to US that never reached and I couldn't received seeds from US. Moreover, US seed companies no longer ship to France. I called French customs, in order to get seeds, I would need to get phyto certificates. I don't...

I'm not sure who came first. I read that it is from the Narragansett Indian tribe of Rhode and that it was used for their traditional dish. But I can't say if the variety was named after the dish, or the dish after the variety, or if what I'm writing makes sense lol. Thanks for the welcome =D
