I have used primal scream in my hybridizing. I have a brilliant plant called "Fire in the Garden." It sells every time it is in bloom.

Here is what I call big. It is one of my newer cultivars. I call it Under the Purple Rain. 10 inch blooms.

Though it is large it does not have any distinguishing traits that I recognize. To put it in perspective there are 87,000 registered daylilies.

By bulbs are so huge at this point. I have many in big pots. I may have to take some out and add new pots. But When they are not in bloom I get mad at the room they take up indoors. But when in bloom.....

I grew out my seeds years ago. But if I recall the best germination came from planting them on edge with some of the papery substance sticking out. Google it to check my memory.

I double up my trays. A leaking one under a good one. The trays were much sturdier long ago.

I hear the Bob White often. This is the first time I have ever seen one. It let me follow it around for photos before hiding under my porch.

Try some bulb booster-can't hurt.. Also I have been using greensand in my gardens. I put it on a 20 year old indoor plant with unusual foliage, but it had never bloomed. The plant was covered in blooms for the first time. So I now use it on my indoor plants as well as outdoor gardens.
