Well I got a row of Longstanding Bloomsdale Spinach planted and I'm excited to see how it does here, I also have a hill (double row about 70 plants) of Cobra Onions.

Thank you,
I have 3200 sq. ft. and still think we need more room. ;)
Were going to add a 4' x 20' raised bed to the south side of the new greenhouse and a 4' x 10' raised bed to the east side, these raised bed will hold mostly strawberries but will also have herbs like Basil, Parsley, Sage, and...
I always add Green, Brown Manure, and Compost to the garden (compost is mostly chicken, goat, rabbit and cow manure, grass clippings, dried leaves and garden waste) and our soil here is mostly sand and composted plant matter since most of this area was all swamp land. The problem is that my...

Good dogs and good shot :D
I have 2 good dogs outside that keep most of the unwanted critters and I am a fairly good shot with a gun so I keep the stubborn critters out.
Chris
Well I got the garden/s tilled to day.

Now I have to do a soil test, I'll do that tonight and then I will know where my N, P, K, and Ph is at but will have to wait two or three day on the soil...
They finally changed N.E. Ohio to zone 6.
For the longest time they had us at zone 5 but for the past 4 years I been planting as if I were zone 6.
I guess I was ahead of the USDA.
Chris
Soil its more than dirt
