I'm telling ya... I'm soooooooooooo close to zone 8a I can taste it! I still plant on 8a schedule!

Literally, From Fuquay to Angier (I live smack inbetween) is zone 7b. Angier to Coat which is 10 minutes up the road is 8a! COME ON! There is even an 8a BUBBLE marked on the map just across the road where the cow fields are that is marked 8a. I hate being on the cusp.

When I lived in Montana I wanted to put up my own satellite with a huge folding mirror to focus light and warmth from around February to June! That'd fix things!

They finally changed N.E. Ohio to zone 6.
For the longest time they had us at zone 5 but for the past 4 years I been planting as if I were zone 6.
I guess I was ahead of the USDA.

Hmmm, I am no longer in zone 5A; now I am in zone 5B. Still, I doubt that it is going to make a tremendous amount of difference.
