To be honest the "traditional" planting date for peas would be March 30th by our new calendar just because when this lore was started they were still using the old Julian calendar.
(March 17th by Julian calendar is March 30th on our new calendar) So all that planted on March 17th (new calendar...
I'll be planting peas on March 30th, it's a better planting date for peas and other above ground plants than the 17th.
Not to confuse anyone but March 30th on today's "new" calendar is March 17th on the Old (Julian) calendar so I'll be right on date. :lol:

Unless you have tons of room you may what to consider bush varieties,
Example,
Watermelon - Bush Sugar Baby
Pumpkin - Orange Smoothie
Cantaloupe - Honey Bun Hybrid

I got the North Wall vent from my parents house the other day and I got more lumber for the new greenhouse so I hope to get more done on the greenhouse this week.

Yea, the over heating is going to be a big problem I believe.
I know that the old A frame greenhouse will get 90 greenhouse air temperature @ 11:30/ 12:00 with outside air temperature at 25 and the A frame had no insulation.
I have been thinking of window actuators but I am going to have to see...
My plain is to use it for starting seeds in the spring and to try to extend the growing season as much as I can in to the fall/ winter.
