I have trouble reading my writing so I know you will :/
Read the list on the first post and, if you still don't get it, take a pic or try to describe the seed :)
That's exactly what Im talking about. A huge brooder full of feed and shavings... probably more feed than shavings. Im just distgusted about the waste but am working on a better feeder system. On the compost, it goes!
I have many shoots that are way long and are laying on the ground. ...was thinking of pruning them a bit to lift them. Will I be cutting away this years berries?
My chickens are messy eaters and I often wind up with excess crubles mixed in with poo and shavings when I clean the coops. I've been hestitant to toss that on the compost. Too much protein in that feed? What will it hurt?
Thanks!

I guess I should wait to start the tomatoes... 2nd week of May is our last frost date... that's 3 months. They should be started 6 weeks prior, right?
:frow Im still buried under 3+ feet of snow but Im thinking of starting my winter garden... where you start seeds in plastic containers and leave them outdoors in a sunny location.. I can't remember what that is called. But, all of my early spring crops can get started and I need to be...
First off.. I want to say... Ron, you are the man! Every time I see one of your posts, there is some other ingenious idea you have come up with. :frow
I am (my husband is) making a rain barrel this Spring. I have seen how to keep the mosquitos out but what about the algae build up. Some say...
I've had the exact same issue. I'm going to try some new things this year.
#1 I don't think they like soil high in nitrogen. Manures can easily burn them. So a soil high in organic matter but not hot is healthy for them so Im planting them is a seperate, smaller garden.
#2 I plan to water...
