I did Quinoa a couple of years ago. We had water issues and it was stunted. Still, each one yielded more than I expected. By the looks of it you will have a good harvest.
I am growing some this year for the purpose of chicken food. My goal is to plant one bed in the side field (one bed is...
Just so happens I wrote an article on this when I planted my orchard. Folks here helped me refine it.

Don't you just love a good love story? I recently remarried after 15 of single parenting. I too know God picked this man for me and I am so grateful.
Congratulations!!!!!:weee
We do not have an extra freezer yet. I know it seems silly, but it's just been further down the list.
SO I am getting ready to start looking for one. Please tell me what you like and don't like about your extra freezer? Please include brand and models if you can. Thanks!

Isn't it funny how certain things are such a blessing to us? I know this will revolutionize your food saving.

Overwatering is a danger. If they are inside the heat is probably right for most seeds. Of course if you are like us your house gets cold this time of year as we are al tired of tending fores and we can get away with just sweats and sweaters...;)

Ummm, unfortunately I am often in the wrong clothing when I see something that needs my attention. "Oh I'll just do this really quick and then change..." I have ruined so many shoes and clothes. We farmers joke about having anything nice as we end up ruining it.
That being said, I have a...

If you roast the garlic then I would triple it as the flavor really mellows, but I love garlic.
I know we are an organic farm here, but....
I still use systemic fungicide on my roses--there, I said it! But they are far from the feild. I am a rose collector. We live in Oregon with overhead water. Blackspot is a reality here. I have a Saint Cecelia which is one of the most delicious...
