    Yes,it does look like the sago.Atleast ones I saw growing in a pot.I was sent a picture of my in-laws grown one.Mine is still alive though I should get it in some better soil.

    You might need shade covering to protect the seedlings.Other than that and lots of water you are good to go! I always grow stuff late.Never get corn in early and even so my late plantings get 7 or 8 feet tall.If I grew early they would top off at 15 feet!

    When is egg plant ready?

    My dh loves little eggplants. I core them and stuff with a meat mixture.Better to be small than an over ripe huge one.Some plants get bitter as they get too big.

    Sick, sick, sick of rain!

    I hate paying for water. My ideal is atleast 1 rainy day a week,and then use the water in the garbage cans(under down spouts) to water another few days before the skeeters hatch.

    Wagon,barrel,or cart?

    Just an update on my cart. I don't like it. Wish I could get a wheelbarrel. Will ask dh to load one on top of his van. The cart can not hold any soil at all without being so akward to move. I end up lugging soil in 5 gallon buckets.
