I have 3 planting times.. I planted some and not all came up.. then I planted more and some of those came up and then I went through and planted more.. and so I have a few that are blooming and others that are just 2 inches tall..
I will fill in again i suppose..
I did this but I only have room for a single row..
so I planted every 2 to 3 inches along the back fence then came out about 4 inches and planted a second row.
Ok so I herd that if you put a fish head planted in the deep hole of a tomato it does really good.. so I did it.
this will be a test... I used fish head and then tail in the next hole.. My strawberry plants never came up so I planted my extra tomatos.. I have 3 rows of tomatos now.. good...
OK it smells just wonderful.. what can I use it for???
other than walking around the yard and smelling it..
I pinched off the first flower buds yesterday and it was amazing....
can I save the seeds when eventually I dont catch those buds ....
I went to the county extention office workshop for citrus trees
They said to just bring it indoors in a sunny place like a sun room.. they even said citrus like grapefruit and lime we even have to bring inside.
this area has two of those greenish colored boards end to end the asparagus stops at the first 8 foot area.. I can go all the way down to the other end of the board..
how far apart should I space them?
I liked this article.. this year our garden is more to help our grocery bill rather than just enjoy growing things, and learning to grow things.. with my getting a job we are not as heavily relying on our garden but we are learning.. and have a monitary back up so to say..

I planted 2 packages.. I believe 6 crowns per package.. except my 9 year old son was handing them to me and on the last one handed me two crowns together and I had already planted it .. oh well.. so a total of 12 crowns.. I planted them about 6 inches apart each crown..

ok I did dig at least a shovels worth turned over.. because we put chicken run dirt on top and then turned it in with the shovel.. then I put the roots in deep enough to get the roots in without squishing them LOL
I am feeling a little discouraged about my worm box.. I think they all crawled out.. and I was giving them food regularly..
I did have this little problem with what looked like a small I mean very small.. (about a cm or less) cross between a worm and catipillar... looking dark brown black...
well I dug a hole. wide... and then planted them in there like 2 inches down.. then covered the hole...
imagine.. a 1 foot by 8 foot long 2-3 inch deep hole.. plop them all in there then cover it all back up again..
is that a trench??? good grief when I think of trench I imagine the...
I planted mine at the same time.. the package said feb/mar plant time.. and I did plant them at the end of march.. :( I dont think mine have come up yet either..
