Plums and peaches. I made plum jam this afternoon and got all the peaches prepped and ready for jam tomorrow.
The deer have eaten all our apples and any plums they could get and the wild turkeys have eaten all our ripe blackberries. I pulled all the peaches yesterday cuz I WANTED THEM and...
Not sure if this is the right place to pitch a product, but there is a salad dressing by Briana called Zesty French that is so delicious drizzled on ripe tomatoes it almost makes you cry. I have 2 bottles in my cupboard....now hurry up tomatoes.

I would be happy to send you seeds now that I know how to harvest. Seems pretty simple. Please pm me with an address and it would be my pleasure to send.
Anne
Hey, if you tell me how to harvest and save the seeds, I would be happy to send some to you. I have never done that before, just purchased them. I love learning new stuff.

I am in NoCA too, and my tomatoes are loaded....and green. I am not expecting red ripe tomatoes for another 4-6 weeks. It's is really hard to wait.
Anne
Blackberries, yellow plums, peaches, onions, broccolli, lettuce, beans, herbs.....hey it all comes at once doesn't it? Can't wait for the tomatoes.

Ok, then, theOEGBman, here is a visitor in my zinnias this afternoon. It is a toss up as to which image is the more beautiful. Hope you are having a lovely Sunday.
Anne
I too grow Zinnia's every year and love the colors and longevity as cut flowers. I grow sweet peas and bachelor buttons in memory of my Mom every year. We used to love to garden together. Here are a couple of my zinnias.

Of course it will get better. Every year in my garden is different, in fact, I did get my garden in on time this year, and about 1/3 of my flowers and vegs have done NOTHING.....so on time is not always an indication of success. I hope your husband is doing well.
