it has the hyge thorns like a citrus
the leaves do not smell of citrus but it has been neglected and left out in 30 degree weather
the people who gave it to me had no clue what is was
it has been growing int his huge pot in south carolina
it is about 6ft tall in the pot
growing up in the south there are azaleas everywhere here and i HATE them with a passion
this does not look like any azalea i have seen.
azaleas leaves are normally about 2 shades darker and furry
i have never seen shiny azalea leaves and any azaleas i ahve seen had dark brown hardware never grey
we bought some at a fruit stand and they were pretty bland and the hub said they were not sweet at all
so im out to find the SWEETEST non-purple variety of sweet potato
any input?

i have heard they are poisonus not really sure though
the best place to plant them is near the downspout of a gutter or any where water collects most often and thats why you normally find them in ditches

i kept buying tons of rosemary from the store
so i noticed the rosemary i was buying was quite long so i figured i would stick it in some dirt
so its been a week or so and they are taking to the dirt

i found that the best way to harvest is stick a sheet or something similar around the bottom as big as the canopy and just start shaking the limbs
the ones that fall off will be the sweetest
if you have some yogurt mix it with that and then put them in cups cover with plastic wrap then stick a wooden stick in them and pop them in the freezer perfect for summertime treats and the best popsicle ever
