I've heard the berries are an amazing weightloss tool. If I'm thinking of the right plant.
Personally I've found that no matter how costly a plant-If I must have it then I must have it.
Have you tried googling them and reading EVERYTHING?

It's night time now-but I think I saw a leaf wiggle...hehehe
You'd have to be pretty bored to sit and start at a plant webcam for long. lol
Thanks for sharing.
Edited to say *stare* I meant 'stare at a plant webcam for long'
And I swear I wasn't knocking it.
Here in central Indiana-zone 5, we just do as Pat suggested also. Throw some mulch on them and wait for spring. I like to use dead leaves as my mulch for plants like this.
I hate them too. I thought I'd have to worry with my worm bins and fruit flies-but no...no fruit flies in them for a yr. now-but let harvest season come and I can't get rid of them.
My husband has resorted to hanging a sticky fly strip in the kitchen-I hate it.
There just too much fresh fruit...

If I were you I'd split them up some. It's very easy to do-just be careful and you'll see the bulbs to separate. I got a couple clumps as you describe and split them up and ended up with enough to plant a long row of them. This is their...

Under $40 (I think it was) shipping and membership plus sign.
Just something to show our support. Our back yard is # 483,000 and some odd number(I can't remember...
Thank you both/
Pat-excellent idea -using frozen fruits from earlier harvest. And was already planning to touch on jellie and jams. I got a bunch of good book to take with me also. I have a cookbook collect that lines two walls of my kitchen...hehehe
Cat-the holiday gifts is diffinately worth...
We live in an old one room school house. If you look close in the picture at the windows down the side-you can see where the windows have been modernized-changing the look significantly-but it still looks like Little House on the Prairie in person.
But what I wanted to share was how my husband...
