Inside joke, and after another glass of wine, I may tell that story...but it isn't about flora or fauna, so...NEVERMIND! :gig
Yeah, after reading journey11's post, I am going to cut them off above ground next time. There are about 10 more out there that are this big...
I have a back pasture full of fist sized chanterelle mushrooms that I came across looking for firewood this afternoon.
I picked 4 of them hastily and then thought there might be a certain way to pick them so more mushrooms will return/spore.
(Also, since I am not from mushroom country someone...

Yep, poor old Jane (the first photo up there) is a drooler, but only when she is nervous, like at the vet.
Kate pictured here seconds AFTER she stole an apple off the tree, is not a drooler at all.
Jane (Jane Doe) was a stray 9 or 10 years ago, and Kate (Kate Moss) was turned into a high kill...

I have two female bunnies that have finally learned to get along. They have a burrow under the chicken's coop and I'm sure there are holes all the way to the center of the earth! They have full run of the yard (1 acre) during the day until it is dark. Then...

Dont buy apples, I'll give you some of mine!! I have one tree with fresh ripe apples ready to go and 5 more trees waiting in the wings. Most of the apples are from England and Germany. I will go out to read their name tag and get back to you later. I also have pears (two types!) and...
