Good point but did you see the size of there house they have to chew on? The hole they made inside in the ground still reminds me Hogans Heroes.
How cool is that to devote such a great space for these wonderful pets.

Great news!
My love just got a letter saying she was approved for a grant to go back to school.
I am happy for her as I know she is way above the job she accepted to make ends meet at home here.
Sorry to share my life so much, but I feel good to share with my friends the good times as well...
It is funny you mention it that way. I plant things almost everyday, as I do I tell myself, oh no problem I will remember where I put these!
by the time I get in the house I forgot not only where I planted but what I planted also!
Did I mention I have ADD? I think I just think about to much at...
Oh boy now wait that is not at all what I had in mind here.
I do think your time is coming!
The lady of your life will have to just find you then if you go with that sit and stay motive.
Need a vacation? Come on down! lots of bronze bods down this way!
Temp for the mid-day sun will be about...
This is so true for me!
After refreshing every minute or so I just get up and plant something! Or at least look in on them like a worried father looking in on the child.
Sorry these slow times give me to much to ponder!

Well said V!
Cement blocks would only leach out Lime I do believe. But not enough to change to much of the surrounding soil's PH.
Blocks are kiln dried and cured, If set in mortar that may change things a little, but I don't fell it would cause any trouble.

This is exactly what happened to me! I plan on a much earlier start next spring and hope for the best.
I think after a good top soil turn and remulch I will have better microbes going on in my new garden spot( was the front lawn/weeds).
For my first time growing in this soil I did well. Not...
I have one Amaryllis that I just picked up.
One stem has finished blooming, it was not well taken care of and only one bloom made it to be able to become fertile. The other stem is in full bloom now! So I thought I would read up on how to make more of these fine bulbs.
I found this info very...
I have always wanted to try tissue culture.
Does anyone here have any experience in this?
With the cooler weather approaching my garden I should get some extra experimenting time to give this a try.
Any thoughts or ideas?
Thanks Joe
I think you covered that very well!
I will like to say for a good cheap practice run with Bonsai I would buy the smallest Yew I could find. They kind of look like Bonsai without any help. With some work they do make a fine specimen.
Joe
NurseNettie that is a good suggestion.
I would like to add that this would work well but I would not use this setup near your home. It would be moist from watering your garden all the time. Water + wood = Termites and Carpenter Ants.
Joe
Colin I see on a Forum in Ireland this fella (James Kilkelly) said the same exact thing!
IMO if you take others ideas they should get credit for it!
