    hi vfem, radishes will do this sometimes. It happened me many years ago. They looked exactly like that. This year my radishes did VERY well. They came from burpee seeds. Burpee Seed Co. has good quality radish seeds as do many other major seed co's

    We have thyme, rosemary, lemon balm, peppermint, marjoram, lavender, sage, and another herb which Ive forgotten what its called. Im planting borage, lemon verbena, verbena, and chamomile next year to add to the herb garden. :watering

    I'll try my best to help. Fire ants? where do you live? Fire ant's are pests. My suggestion would be to dothis. If they are on a trail put some grease/butter on a string and "guide" them away somewhere else. As for putting in pestecide. I wouldn't, becuase there are other bugs in there such as...
