LOL  I'll have to tell my Mom that you said that! She was doing all the hard work - I was just photodocumenting everything.
I think the secret is that the gardening season hasn't started yet (here at least). Or maybe it's all the hand washing of dishes. She loves to do dishes......:lau
Transplanting seedlings tonight!
Also, anyone remember the USDA "free" seed thing from last year? Well, I planted 3 types of pepper from them and the potatoes they sent last August.
Everything has sprouted up!
But the garden is still covered in at least 2 to 3 feet of snow.

But you might have a micro climate like lavender2. I...
You don't need to worry. I planted habeneros next to sweet bells last year without problems.
The cross polination happens with the next year's plant - IF you save seeds from year to year.

I'll bet the dill re-seeded itself - they throw out a TON of seeds!
Did they sprout or get mushy or ?
The UofM extension says
The advice my Dad gave me - Don't wash the potatoes and store them in a cool, dark place in 5 gallon buckets. I'm still using ones that I harvested last year. My storage room is a little bit too warm and some have started to sprout...
