I just looked up a pic for one.. they're stunning! Please post pics when they bloom! I got a pack of dwarf "Incredible" mix...I like how they only reach 20" and have a whopper of a bloom! I'm going to sow them today, rain or not! LOL Says on the package, they are wonderful for pots and patios..

Thanks! We are going on 3 days of non-stop rain here in FL. It's about to drive me insane! Last night, we had some extraordinary winds from out of nowhere..According to the news, we'll be dealing with this for the remaining of the week..At least we are out of drought tho'

Oh wow! I will have to look for some seeds! I don't think I've ever seen any around here tho'..Is this one that needs to be ordered? I have to agree, the flower really does look "mythical" very nice indeed..

I have some cucumbers in my container and they are flowering today..Make sure to post some pics of those melons as they sprawl!

Those veggies look awesome! Container gardening is fun huh?! Broccoli is something I can't grow here in Florida now..When it gets to hot the plant just dies...I'll be growing it during our winter tho' I hear they love frosty type weather..

Isn't that the truth! I wont be doing any gardening myself today..due to "life" *sighs* Our hot water heater went so extra money towards any garden supplies has gone out the door and got lost..LOL

It's a chilly here but feels SO good! I was wondering if Winter was back! I know how you feel too about wanting the rain to stop..It's still raining here in my town. I just keep reminding myself how I dislike dragging the water-hose and sprinklers around! lol

Wow! I seen the pics but didn't realize you had melons.. It can be done..if you need the space, then growing them in containers wouldn't be a good idea..I can't wait to see your containers flourish!

Thanks! Well darn, I planted the seeds last night...I guess I can move the trellis before they germinate. This is my first yr growing MG's they really take off! I have a bird-bath and a old stump covered in them..To bad the MF's don't vine as well:(

Container gardening is really fun and a great way to save space too. You can grow just about anything that doesn't vine like pumpkin/watermelon...I have an awesome book on container gardening...If you like carrots, those are easily grown and you can pile them in! Here is a pic of my book..came...

I take my egg shells and sprinkle them around the base of my veggies and fruit...the plants love it! banana's are good too! Just take the peel and toss around the plant...

While at Home Depot tonight, I picked up a large trellis and pack of Moonflower seeds...I grow Morning Glories with no effort at all..I was curious tho' does anyone know if the plants "need" to be planted where the moon actually sits? Also, can I trim the vines w/o stopping the production of new...
