@ducks4you my Daddy used willow for a rooting hormone. He cut the green tips of willow, stripped off the leaves, cut in quarter inch pieces and soaked in water 3 days. Every 3 days, he changed out the willow water until he saw roots.

Coffee is ready. Yesterday I bought 2 tomato plants and 2 cups with cucumber plants in them. All were very wilted and sad looking. I put them in the kitchen sink and watered them several times. They perked up overnight and look good now. Maybe I’ll get them planted today.

Never made grape jelly, but I’ve had failures in other fruits. Use those syrups for pancake syrup! Or if you have a dehydrator with solid sheets, make your own fruit leathers.
As far as the jelly, just try again. I use certo and sure jell, both are good.
