Are you planing on planting everything in long rows?
You can plant a lot more in square or block plantings.
I have about 300 carrots growing in a 3x2 foot space, just for an idea.
You can kind of see what I did with my garden this year here
And check out the newest edition of Square-foot...
A few more projects I made yesterday :D
Tea pot birdhouse - I still have to paint this and add a few things

I gave this plate flower to my grandma
She's just a cat, but a sweetie! She is about seven pounds, so not a maine coon (I wish! They are so big and pretty)
Her name is Catty - actually it's Catalina - LOL
Lots and lots of butterflies and bees
And a Catty
I have lots and lots more pics of butterflies on my zinnias and also bees, but I didn't feel like uploading them all to Flickr and then over to her so................................if you like bugs and flowers check out my blog - link in...
I make a wire wall all the way around each of my roses.
Then I fill it with dry leaves.
This insulates them from the cold and the wire protects the roses from voles that would like to nibble on them through the winter.
The wire walls are about 4 feet high.
I harvested some onions last week and potatoes this week. The purple potatoes are so good! They are super sweet, but still potatoey.
And check out the tomatoes I picked today!
Yummy!
I washed them in my outdoor sink - that I got for free! It works really well to wash everything outside.
I used a thingy called a bell holder to attach the flower to the pipe.
It's in the plumbing supply section, but I had to find it myself, because the clerks had no idea what I was talking about.
It is an AMAZING little thingy. I'm thinking of all kinds of things I can attach them to and put up...
