What animals are you Gardening with?

TheNewBee it kinda looks like you are potty training your chickens to use the compost bin - that would cut out a few steps in cleaning up after them eh?

I knew I'd get great ideas from this forum about composting chicken poo! :clap
Now I need advice on how to potty train the chickens...

I have lots and lots more pics of butterflies on my zinnias and also bees, but I didn't feel like uploading them all to Flickr and then over to her so................................if you like bugs and flowers check out my blog - link in the sig line and PLEASE ------- ENTER THE AUGUST GIVEAWAY!!! :rainbow-sun

I compost goat and chicken and turkey poo along with all the leaves and weeds and the lawn clippings from our yard and the neighbor's yard (too much for the birds to eat it all).

My three guineas do a fantastic job of patrolling for bugs. With them on patrol, this is the first year that my cukes have lasted for the entire season. Squash, too. The only pest they haven't managed to eat is the groundhog....

I use my hens for spring and fall tilling. To concentrate their efforts, I built my 2 hp tiller: http://www.sufficientself.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=1662&p=1

I don't use the riding lawnmower in the gardens, but it does a great job of trimming up the fencelines..... http://www.sufficientself.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=1661

Catalina,

Is that a Maine Coon? He looks so noble...what is his name?

(Your flowers and butterflys are stunning too.)
She's just a cat, but a sweetie! She is about seven pounds, so not a maine coon (I wish! They are so big and pretty)
Her name is Catty - actually it's Catalina - LOL
